At the heart of LindaPaige is Linda’s passion for community and connection, especially with women. To this end, through all of her travels, both business and personal, she seeks out opportunities to meet and support local communities. Linda believes that it is our responsibility to invest time, money, and muscle into communities. As a woman of faith, she does not believe that church is confined to a building on a Sunday morning, but that we are the hands and feet of our Creator. THE HEART BEHIND LINDAPAIGE
One of my favourite quotes is from poet Matthew Arnold, who said, “If ever there comes a time where the women of the world come together purely and simply for the benefit of mankind, it will be a force such as the world has never known.” To me, women are the most beautiful, powerful, nurturing, gentle, fierce force of creation on the planet. Our purpose is to love, and be loved, and to bring something powerful, beautiful and valuable to our corner of the world. To do this, we need to stop comparing ourselves to others and stop criticising our body and our beauty. I choose to compete with our my own last personal best, doing something every day to expand my confidence, my courage and my excellence. We were not designed to blend into the background! We are called to arise and shine, and to be a light in this world. So here at LindaPaige, our commitment is to love ourselves well in order that we can love others greatly.
I have invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in my personal development. With no education, no training, no skills, no car, no job, no money…no clue!…I started work at 17, and by 25, realised I needed to figure some stuff out. It became a way of life that forced me to face my greatest fears. And ever since the age of 17, my personal style was always my greatest power tool - teaching myself to dress in a way that got me noticed, interviewed, hired and promoted.
But it was in February 2013 that I turned a real corner when I met my coach and mentor, Dani Johnson.
Where I had a vague idea, Dani gave me focus. Where I had a blurry vision, she sharpened it. Where I struggled to break free from the final traumas that held me back in life, she took me by the hand and led me through powerful skills and mindsets that significantly impacted my journey since 2013. Under her leadership, I loved but left my corporate career and took a massive leap of faith and opened my own business as an online Stylist. Today, my business as Confidence Coach incorporates my negotiation and personal style background which empowers women all over the world to get up, dress up and be a bold light on a hill.
Dressing well is a powerful people skill, and when you learn my ‘dress to connect’ technique, you will find that what you wear impacts everything.
The Scriptures are loaded with clothing analogies and a call to action to arise and shine. Wherever you are, whoever you are, your beauty is not to be hidden. In my program, we strip away any religious training you may have had with regards your style, your beauty and your body. You are majestic and splendid (Ps 111)! You are a royal priesthood, a set apart nation, kings in the marketplace. How then, shall we dress?
